 FAQs

  • Within one week of your client contacting me, I will set up an appointment for the first interview. Typically, we will meet two to three times. If needed, additional interviews will be scheduled. The first interview is 90 minutes whereas the second and possibly third interviews are 50 minutes in length.

Interviews can be scheduled in my office or be conducted virtually. My office is conveniently located in Metairie. Interviews conducted virtually are provided through a HIPAA secure video platform. However, if a child or children need to be interviewed, then this would necessitate a meeting in my office.

  • I conduct all evaluations in English but will use interpreters if requested. I can arrange for the services of a certified interpreter to assist in the interview. The use of an interpreter will incur an additional fee.

  • I will conduct an impartial, comprehensive assessment of your client which will consist of interviews with pertinent individuals, results from psychological tests and structured interviews, reviews of relevant documents; and correspondence with you and your client. Furthermore, the final report will include recommendations and possible referrals to resources in the community.

  • The evaluation will be completed within two weeks of the final interview. Once completed, your client will have the opportunity to read and correct any possible errors in the report and discuss any inconsistencies during a feedback session. Corrections will be made and shortly thereafter the evaluation will be sent to you for your review. If needed, edits will be done. The final evaluation will be available within two days.

An expedited service is available in which the evaluation can be made available within one week of the final interview for an additional fee.
